Who we are
riri.ink is operated by Intellectio Ltd, a company registered in United Kingdom, company number 16605569. Director: Lauri Chen.
Registered office: Unit 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.
Trading and correspondence address: Flat 1, 17A Bear Close, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, OX20 1JT, United Kingdom.
Support: support@riri.ink. Privacy requests: privacy@riri.ink.
Intellectio Ltd is not registered for VAT. The price shown at checkout is the full amount charged. If that changes, the price shown before you pay will say so.
We offer these services worldwide. The contract is governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes are decided by the courts of England and Wales. If the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights still apply.
Disclaimer
Files distributed through riri.ink/applications, and the Ad Hoc installs of Halo and Remember Her, are provided “as is”. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law of England and Wales does not allow us to limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, downloads and Ad Hoc installs are used at your own risk. For a paid mailbox, our liability arising from that allowance is limited to the fees you paid us for it during the three months before the claim.
Verify checksums and review the contents of any executable before running it on your machine. If a download includes third-party content, the license terms of that content also apply.
Terms of Use
These terms cover riri.ink, including Riri Mail, file downloads, Ad Hoc app installs, tips, and the web copy of Halo AI. Halo on the App Store also has its own terms at /halo/terms.
- You must be at least 13 years old to buy a mailbox or Halo AI.
- You may download files for personal, non-commercial use unless a file's description grants broader rights. You may not redistribute, resell, or rehost files from
riri.ink/applicationswithout written permission. - Some files are public. Some require a signed-in mailbox or access we grant. Paying for a mailbox, or sending a tip, does not unlock every file. There is no separate premium subscription for downloads.
- You may not bypass access controls, payment, or another person's mailbox.
- A mailbox allowance is a one-time digital purchase, described below. It is not a subscription. Halo AI on the web is a separate monthly subscription.
- We may refuse a signup or suspend access if these terms, the acceptable-use rules, or the law are broken, or if the service or its providers are at risk. Suspension does not refund a payment.
Privacy
Intellectio Ltd is the controller of personal data processed on riri.ink. We use it to provide the service you asked for, to take payment, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data.
- Account. Email address, display name, a hashed password, and a session cookie if you sign in. A sign-in lasts up to 400 days and renews while that account is in use. Sign in with Apple, where used, is processed by Apple. We do not use advertising cookies.
- Mail. Messages, attachments, and contacts are stored so the mailbox can send, receive, and search them. Message content is encrypted on our servers. It is not end-to-end encrypted: we can read it to run the mailbox. Outbound mail, and inbound mail received for your address, is processed by Postmark.
- Mail AI. If you turn on an AI action, or auto-summarise (off unless you enable it), the message content needed for that action is sent to xAI (Grok). Summaries we generate are stored with the message. Private and maximum-privacy messages are not auto-analysed.
- Allowances and payments. We store message and storage counters and the Stripe payment reference that grants or resets them. Card numbers stay with Stripe. Tips use the same payment processor and are not linked to a mailbox unless you are signed in.
- Halo AI. The iPhone app keeps Apple Health samples on the device. If you use cloud Coach or a meal photo, a compact score summary and that photo are sent to our server and then to DeepSeek to produce the reply. We do not keep a Halo account or store that summary or photo in our database after the reply is sent. Apple processes the iPhone subscription. Stripe processes the web subscription.
- Downloads. We increment a per-file counter. We do not store a download history against your account for that counter.
- Operations. Railway hosts the application, database, and file volume. If alerts are configured, a Telegram message to the operator can name a mailbox that hit a limit. It does not include the message body. Server logs used to diagnose faults are part of the backup window below.
An unfinished mailbox signup holds the handle for two hours. The password hash for an abandoned or completed signup is then cleared.
We keep a mailbox, its messages, and its files while the account is open. When you delete the account, we delete that live data then. Copies in backups are removed within 90 days. Any remaining record, including payment references we still hold, is deleted within 3 years of account deletion. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its policy.
You can download a copy of a mailbox and delete it from Settings → Privacy, or email privacy@riri.ink. You can ask us to correct inaccurate data, to restrict or object to processing, and to move a copy of your data. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We do not knowingly sell to anyone under 13. If we learn an account is under that age, we will delete it.
Postmark, Stripe, xAI, DeepSeek, Railway, Apple, and Telegram may process data outside the United Kingdom. We use them only to run the service and rely on their contracts for those transfers.
Mailbox allowance
An @riri.ink address is a paid mailbox. The current allowance is $8 and includes:
- 200 messages sent
- 1000 messages received
- 100 MB of stored files (attachments and uploads)
The address is claimed when payment completes. An unfinished checkout holds the handle only briefly, then releases it. Sending, receiving, and storing files stop when the matching counter is used up.
You can pay $8 again to reset the counters. Sent and received counts go back to zero and you receive another full allowance of each. Unused messages from the previous allowance are replaced, not added on top. Storage room is added in full on top of the files you still have; deleting files frees space inside the allowance you already paid for. Message counters do not shrink when you delete mail.
Some addresses are reserved for the operator (role accounts such as postmaster and abuse, product names, and the operator's own handles). They are not available for public signup. The operator, and automated agents the operator runs, use mailboxes that are not subject to this fee or these counters.
A public message may include at most 25 recipients. Mailbox fees are for this email service. They are separate from voluntary tips and from Halo AI.
The allowance is a digital service. It is supplied as soon as payment completes, which is when the address is opened. It is not refundable. At checkout you are asked to agree to that immediate supply. Inbound mail that arrives after a receive or storage limit is not filed. Do not use the address as an archive beyond the allowance you have paid for.
Acceptable use
Riri Mail is offered to people beyond the operator's own accounts. You may use a mailbox for lawful personal or organisational correspondence. You may not use it to:
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited mail, or mail to purchased or scraped lists.
- Phish, impersonate another person or organisation, or mislead recipients about who you are.
- Distribute malware, or use the service to break into systems or accounts.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse another person.
- Send or store unlawful content.
- Probe, scan, or load-test the service, or attempt to bypass payment, reserved handles, or another person's mailbox.
- Resell the mailbox or present riri.ink as your own mail platform.
The operator may refuse a signup, suspend a mailbox, or stop accepting mail for an address that breaks these rules or puts the service, its users, or its providers at risk. Suspension does not refund a payment. Inbound mail that arrives after a receive or storage limit is not filed as a normal message; do not rely on the mailbox as an archive beyond the allowance you have paid for.
Outbound mail is handed to Postmark for delivery. You are responsible for the messages you send and for having a lawful basis to contact the recipients.
Donations
Tips at riri.ink/donate (and the “Donate” button on public app pages) are voluntary gifts to Intellectio Ltd. They are not charitable donations, they are not tax deductible, and they do not entitle the donor to any specific service, feature, or premium access. A mailbox allowance and Halo AI are separate payments, and neither is a tip.
The optional “Pay what you want” link on some download pages is also a tip: the download stays free whether you pay £0 or more, and paying unlocks nothing. If you tipped by mistake, email support@riri.ink within 14 days and we will refund it.
