Halo is a longevity companion that runs on your device. This policy is the public URL for App Store Connect. The same facts apply to Halo AI on the web.
The controller is Intellectio Ltd, company number 16605569 (director: Lauri Chen). Registered office: Unit 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. Correspondence: Flat 1, 17A Bear Close, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, OX20 1JT, United Kingdom.
Halo reads Apple Health data you already have on the iPhone: sleep, heart, movement, body measurements, workouts, and related types. That includes samples other apps (Watch, Whoop, Oura, Garmin, and similar) have written into Apple Health. Halo does not log into those apps.
You may also log meals, tags, mood, and notes inside Halo.
Health samples stay on this device. Halo does not create an account, does not upload Apple Health export files, and does not sell or share your data with advertisers.
When Coach is set to Halo cloud (Halo AI), a compact summary of today plus up to 90 scored days (not raw Health samples) is sent to riri.ink and then to DeepSeek so the coach can answer. When you photograph a meal, that photo is sent with the same compact 90-day score summary (still not raw samples) so the plate can be read in context. You can switch Coach to on-device rules in Settings. Meal photos are not required; you can log a meal as text only.
We do not create a Halo account and we do not store that summary or photo in our database after the reply is sent. DeepSeek processes the request to write the reply. Operational logs, if they contain a fragment of a request, are removed within 90 days.
Halo AI on iPhone is an Apple subscription. Halo does not see your card number. Halo AI on the web is £2 per month through Stripe. You can cancel future renewals at riri.ink/halo/ai. The period already paid for is not refunded.
Optional exports (JSON backup or CSV) are files you save yourself.
Halo requests read access only. It does not write to Apple Health. You can revoke access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Halo does not track you across apps or websites. There is no advertising identifier use.
Email privacy@riri.ink for access, correction, or deletion. Account help: support@riri.ink. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Halo is not offered to anyone under 13.
The mailbox privacy notice, if you also have an @riri.ink address, is at riri.ink/legal.
Halo is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. Scores are a wearable model, not a laboratory clock.
